In the springtime, there's work to be done out at the farm where hops are grown for the Pearl Street Brewery. The young hop chutes that poke out of the ground are trained onto twine by us and our friends that arrive to take an active role in the production of the beer that we all enjoy. From the very begining of the brewing process: the soil. The vigorous young hopvines will grow up to 15 feet by the end of the summer growing season, and will blossom.

At the end of the summer, we'll all return to the farm for, "The Harvesting of the Hop", our harvest and celebration of the bountiful hops that make PSB's award-winning beers so unique and fresh! The hop flowers are hand picked and dried in the Sun.
