Winter Ball 2014 TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

Tuesday, December 17th, 2013

People have been camped out in front of the brewery for days waiting for this moment, and now their wait is over…

Tickets for our 15th annual Winter Ball go on sale TODAY! Get them through the rest of December and pay only $25 for General Admission. In January, the price goes up to $30, and February’s price is $35. Knock out a few names off of your list and give the gift of an awesome party!

This year expect nothing but the best as we throw down for our 15-year anniversary. Can you believe we’ve been slingin’ suds out of La Crosse for 15 years already? This year, we’ve got an amazing line-up of specialty releases, all five of which will be paired with delicious food from five of our favorite restaurants in town.

Our stage will also be rockin’ for EIGHT HOURS straight, with music from The Smokin’ Bandits, Animal – A tribute to Pearl Jam, Sexy Ester, and Honest Monday.

We’ll be hosting events all over town with specials all Winter Ball Week (2/3-2/7), so “like” our Winter Ball page on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest and greatest insider information!

And now… the restaurant and beer pairings!

Join us for a Night of Exceptional Food and Beer at Dublin Square!

Tuesday, December 17th, 2013

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Dublin Square of Downtown La Crosse to offer you a fine dining experience like no other. Chef Jake McLees has created some mouth-watering dishes that pair perfectly with some of your favorite Pearl Street beers. If his menu doesn’t already have you running out the door, we’ll also be serving up steamy towels and something refreshing to cleanse your palate before the feast! Expect to walk away feeling delightfully satiated, pampered, and a lot more educated about beer and the pairing process. As an extra treat, we’ll send you out after dinner with a special souvenir from us here at the brewery. Seating is very limited, but there are still a few tickets left. Call Dublin Square today to reserve your spot, and we’ll see you at the table!

Bigtree Bonsai LIVE at PSB

Thursday, December 5th, 2013

We’re stoked to have our friends Bigtree Bonsai back on the brewery’s big stage THIS Saturday, December 7 to celebrate the release of their new album, Awoken. (and guess what? You’ll be able to purchase the new album on Saturday, even though its official release is the 13th! Heck yes.)

The Minneapolis-based group has been described as indie, alt-country, rock, Americana, among other things, but we just like to call them, well… awesome.

You could take our word for it, or check out their beautifully scenic lyric video, featuring the beloved North Shore of Minnesota, here!

For an added bonus, they’ll also be welcoming two special guests:  Dead Horses and Armstrong Clawhammer.  THREE bands at ONE place … and, even better, the whole evening will set you back only FIVE BUCKS! Five bucks for three bands?! We know, it’s ridiculously righteous. Plus, if you bring your ticket stub to the Popcorn Tavern after the show, they’ll hook you up with a FREE Pearl Street beer! Now, that’s a steal.

Pre-sale tickets are available now at PSB. Stop in from 4-8 tonight or 4 -10 on Friday and snag a few. They’ll be $7 at the door on Saturday. We’re bound to have a blast; why don’t you rally up some pals and join us?

Pearl Street Fords the River!

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013

Ah, Minnesota. The land of hotdishes, Paul Bunyan, and now… Pearl Street Brewery! We are proud to announce that the craft beer lovers of the Land of 10,000 Lakes can now find PSB in Olmsted, Houston, Winona, and Fillmore Counties (for starters!).

Crossing the border into our friendly neighboring state is exciting for us, and we’re proud to have partnered up with La Crosse-based Midwest Beverage and Cellars, a distribution company whose employees are equally excited about good beer!

“We take care of beer, and we want to do it the right way,” explains Doug Beckman. “We pick [the beer] up cold, we keep it cold, and keep it fresh.”

Pearl Street is proud to support another local small business. Midwest’s workforce is only six employees, and their portfolio is small, in order to be able to focus on every brand. Says Beckman, “we’re proud to be a partner with Pearl Street Brewery and bring a great La Crosse beer into Minnesota.”

You can find Pearl Street Brewery six-packs already on the shelves at all three Apollo Liquor stores in Rochester, and at La Crescent Wine & Spirits on the pike between La Crescent and La Crosse, as well as numerous other retailers, bars, and restaurants. New locations are popping up every day; where will you find your next Pearl Street brew?

Java Lava Now in Bottles!

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013

You’ve begged, you’ve pleaded … and we’ve heard your cry! Your beloved Java Lava is NOW in stores ready and waiting for you to take some home today!

If you haven’t tasted this dark and delicious brew yet, you’re in for a toasty treat. We take our stout, made with organic rolled oats and both black and chocolate malts, and we dump buckets full o’ beans into the brew, where they steep until our desired coffee aroma and flavor is reached.

We use Guatemalan coffee beans, which are freshly-roasted by our pals at Bean Juice Coffee Roasters, just down on La Crosse’s South Side. So while you’re kicking back at home with a bottle of this eye-opener, you can feel good about supporting not one, but TWO local small businesses.

You’ll find these little black bottles popping up in your favorite Wisconsin (and Southeastern Minnesota!) restaurant, tavern, or local beer retailer. If you don’t see it where you’re at, go ahead and ask ‘em. After all, you need something to fill your coffee mug up with, right?
