La Crosse’s Oktoberfest celebration was started 50 years ago this year by a local brewery. That’s why The Brewmaster decided to bring back this special brew for such an occasion. A locally made Fest Beer for a local festival. Makes damn good sense. And since we can’t do anything without lots of fanfare.

Mark your calendars for Thursday September 2nd. We’ll be releasing the Lederhosen Lager Fest Beer from 4pm to 8pm. They’ll be live music, food and of course lots of beer. What’s the added bonus you ask? If you wear your lederhosen and show off your Oktoberfest spirit, you can drink FREE beer. Prost!

PICK A POUND FOR A PINT

Helping out has never been so rewarding. It is that time of year again. Time to pick the hops. We figure since you’re here, sitting on the porch and hanging out – why not make yourself useful? All you have to do is pick a pound of hops and you get a pound (16oz) of beer for FREE. Oh and you can brag about how you personally helped with this year’s batch of Harvest Ale! How cool is that?

The 2nd Annual Hop Harvest is from Tuesday August 30th when the doors open at 4pm until Saturday September 4th or until all the hops have been harvested.

Not only will we be open until TEN O’CLOCK PM… we will also be giving away FREE beer (to graduates!)

Congratulations to you for persevering through the last several years. For enduring the countless exams, hepatitis shots and long nights of partying. For becoming well-rounded and intellectually forthright individuals. For excelling yourselves and striving to become better people. I think Fayze’s is hiring. HA! Before you go off to change the world, let us tip our hats to you, oh, donners of the cap and gowns. On behalf of the entire PSB crew, I’d like to say: it’s been fun. We’d like to buy you all a beer! If you have reached the ripe old age of 21 and you will be graduating this weekend, we’d like you to bring your tassel from your hat in and show us so we can fill a pint and toast La Crosse’s brightest and finest! Tickets are about to go on sale for The 8th Annual Between the Bluffs Beer, Wine and Cheese Festival. And although it is mouthful to say the title of this fest, they’re just preparing you for what you’re going to get at the event. You’ll munch on some the finest cheese in all the land. Sip on expertly aged fine wines. And swig on the best craft beer around. I’d say it is a palate’s delight, but would probably be more accurate in saying it is pure gluttony (there’s no sin about it).
